Jane Austen Wrecked My Life Trailer and Release Date

Sony recently released the trailer for the French romantic comedy movie Jane Austen Wrecked My Life, which seems to be about a French woman bookstore owner and writer who wins some sort of private Jane Austen residency that will allow her to finish a book in the famous authors tradition. I didn't watch the full trailer because it seems to be the kind that gives away to much. Instead I'll just wait for the movie to hit the theaters.

What is the U.S. release date for Jane Austen Wrecked My Life?

According to Sony, the movie will hit select theaters on Friday May 16, 2025. My guess is that it will premier in a handful of cities where it has a good chance of finding on audience - think Cambridge and Brookline, MA, Austin, TX, and such places.
